“The Bloodline of Shadrick Grace” takes place from 1897 through Prohibition and the Stock Market Crash. It's about an orphaned boy (Shadrick Grace) who is left a parcel of land; both Shadrick and the land are rejected by his remaining listed living relatives who saw zero value in either. Shadrick (aka Shady) grows up trying to support his family by illegally distilling and distribution of moonshine. Shadrick has made money his main priority, which he secretly hopes will bring the security, and recognition he has longed for. His wife, Marie, a devout Catholic, struggles with the moral dilemma of Shady constantly breaking the law as well as her own suppressed desires and ambitions.
